Ember is built around real, verified connections. These Community Guidelines set the standards we expect from every member. By using Ember, you agree to follow them. Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal.
Treat others the way you want to be treated. No harassment, hate speech, slurs, threats, or abuse of any kind. Disagreements happen, but personal attacks, insults, and intimidation have no place here.
Use your own photos and accurate information about yourself. Do not impersonate anyone, misrepresent your age, or create fake accounts. Ember’s verification exists to keep the community honest — bypassing it or sharing another person’s verification result is not allowed.
Respect boundaries. Do not send sexually explicit messages, images, or content without clear consent. Unwanted sexual advances, persistent messaging after someone asks you to stop, or any form of coercion will result in immediate action.
You may not post or share content that promotes violence, self-harm, illegal activity, or discrimination. This includes profile photos, bios, messages, and any other content shared on Ember.
Do not use Ember for solicitation, scams, spam, or commercial promotion. Do not ask other users for money, financial information, or personal details they are not comfortable sharing. Report anyone who does.
If you choose to meet someone from Ember, take sensible precautions: meet in public, tell a friend where you’re going, and trust your instincts. Ember is not responsible for off-app interactions, but we encourage safe, respectful behavior at every step.
If you see behavior that violates these guidelines, report it. Our moderation team reviews reports within 24 hours and takes action when needed. We may remove content, restrict features, or ban accounts based on the severity of the violation.
We may update these guidelines as Ember grows. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
