These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Ember website, mobile application, and services (collectively, “Ember”). By creating an account, accessing, or using Ember, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Ember.
You must read, agree with, and accept all of the terms and conditions contained in these Terms before you use Ember. We may update these Terms from time to time, and the current version will always be available on this page. Your continued use of Ember after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Ember. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18, that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into these Terms, and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.
When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
You agree to use Ember in a respectful and lawful manner. You may not:
Ember uses a live selfie check to verify that users are real people and match their profile photos. We reserve the right to remove verification, suspend accounts, or terminate access if we believe a user has attempted to bypass verification or misrepresent their identity.
Ember offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis according to the plan you select. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise inappropriate. You may also delete your account at any time from within the app settings.
Ember is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that Ember will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ember and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of Ember, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ember operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
